Living in the 21st century, most patients lead active social lifestyles. They expect surgical procedures that are minimally invasive yet highly effective, with the added convenience of same-day teeth. Consequently, the concept of immediacy in implant dentistry has become increasingly important. Offering immediate results to our patients is not only an essential service but also a fantastic way to build and grow our practice. Bone grafts can be minimized, treatment can be optimized and accelerated with the use of smarter drilling techniques (osseodensification) and by placing 'Site Specific' implants (angled, wide, reverse tapered, piccolo, zygomatic, pterygoid). These implants are specially designed for a specific purpose and site. With good primary stability, these implants can be loaded immediately with same-day teeth for immediate function. This concept is in line with the late Professor P.I. Brånemark's philosophy of 'Lesser Surgery to Treat More Patients'. High treatment acceptance and patient satisfaction are the most important advantages. Attendees will practice on models the osseodensification drilling technique, which enhances implant stability and bone density by utilizing the natural plasticity of bone, and insert regular and 'Site Specific' implants (Straight, Angled/Co-axis, and Wide/Max). They will also perform subcrestal (close) sinus lifts without the need to open lateral windows. Overall, this course offers a comprehensive understanding of Immediacy in implant dentistry, providing clinicians with the appropriate insights and practical skills.

Speakers:

Dr Christopher Ho & Dr Petros Yuvanoglu

Learning Objectives:

2. Learn about 'Site Specific' implants and their benefits in optimizing and accelerating treatment.

3. Gain knowledge about smarter drilling techniques like osseodensification and its impact on implant stability and bone density.

4. Develop proficiency in performing subcrestal sinus lifts without the need to open lateral windows.

5. Acquire practical skills through hands-on practice on models, including the osseodensification drilling technique and the insertion of regular and 'Site Specific' implants.

By achieving these learning objectives, attendees will be equipped with the necessary expertise and understanding to provide immediate results, enhance patient satisfaction, and grow their practice.
